The 47 year old billionaire was rumored to pull  80- to 90 -hours of work every week. Elon is said to constantly run his mind in a feedback loop; where one is constantly thinking about the task done and how one could be doing it in a better way. As a major entrepreneur, he hires only the best and the truly dedicated employees who are capable of consistent and truthful hard-work. Elon’s work ethic dictates that he prefers to communicate on his own terms. It means defaulting to email and texts, both asynchronous ways of communication. In his own words: “I do love email. Whenever possible I try to communicate asynchronously. I’m really good at email”. Elon is also said to be a master communicator. He is extremely clear, concise and direct while communicating as he believes that people work better when they understand what their goal is and why. As part of his work ethic, Musk is often seen multi-tasking strategically. Whenever possible, he combines multiple tasks together in a productivity hack known as batching. 

Running three companies is not an easy task and time is of the essence all the time which is why Elon schedules his day-to-day activities strategically and efficiently.
